What We Built

A full e-commerce store for Anchorball — no inventory, no upfront cost.

We designed and built a complete online store for Anchorball from the ground up. The concept: every product is print-on-demand. A customer orders, the vendor prints and ships direct to them. You never touch a box, never hold stock, never pay upfront for anything.

The store covers three revenue streams in one place — your original sculptures, gallery-quality art prints, and character-branded apparel and accessories — all under one roof at anchorball.shop.

All three vendors integrate directly with Shopify via free native apps. Ken uploads artwork once. Every order from that point is fully automated — print, pack, ship, tracking — with zero involvement from the studio.

Rollout Plan

Art Prints

Connect Prodigi. Upload the 4 core characters as art prints, framed canvas, and metal prints. Go live on anchorball.shop. Prove the market — collectors who discover Ken through Instagram buy prints first.

Phase 2 — Merch

Apparel + Accessories

Connect Printful and Podbase. Tees, hoodies, tote bags, throw pillows, desk mats, and phone cases. Six distinct accessory products — characters living in people's daily lives.

Phase 3 — Collect

Tech + Premium Accessories

Scale Podbase for phone cases and laptop sleeves. Add enamel pin sets and sticker sheets via Printful. These low price-point items drive impulse buys and repeat purchases from existing collectors.

Revenue Model

Three income streams. All running in parallel.

One-time sales — sculptures, prints, merch, cards. Direct Shopify checkout. Stripe Payments. No platform fees beyond Shopify.
Membership — Crew ($29/mo), Squad ($79/mo), Inner Circle ($199/mo). Physical cards mailed monthly. Early drop access. Studio perks. Recurring monthly revenue.
Commissions — inquiry form on every large-scale sculpture product page routes directly to studio@kenkelleher.com. Your existing commission pipeline stays intact.

Confirm the domain

We recommend anchorball.shop. If Ken already owns a domain, we connect it. If not, we register it — cost is around $20/year.

Create a Shopify account

Free 3-day trial, then $29/mo Basic plan. This is the commerce engine the store runs on. We handle the entire setup once the account exists.

Provide hi-res artwork files

We need Ken's character artwork at 300 DPI or higher to upload to Prodigi and Printful. Even JPEGs from his existing files work as a starting point.

What does this cost Ken upfront? Nothing. Zero upfront cost. Vendors only charge when an order is placed. Shopify is $29/mo.
Who handles shipping? The vendors handle everything — printing, packing, shipping, tracking. Ken does nothing after the artwork is uploaded.
What happens to Ken's existing Squarespace site? Nothing changes. The Anchorball store runs independently. We can add a "Shop" link on his existing site that points to anchorball.shop.
How long to launch after Ken approves? 5-7 business days from approval to live store with Phase 1 products.
Is the trading card membership idea realistic? Yes. QPMN ships holographic collector cards from 1 unit at a time. This is exactly how collectible brands run membership drops.
