Terms of Service | Anchorball

  Please read these Terms carefully before placing any order. By using the Anchorball website or placing a pre-order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Anchorball

Anchorball ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent collectible art brand founded by sculptor Ken Kelleher. We produce and sell limited-edition vinyl figures, plush toys, blind boxes, and bespoke public art installations. Our primary website is anchorball.shop.

2. Pre-Order and Made-to-Order Model

Anchorball operates on a pre-order / made-to-order model. This means:

Products listed as "Pre-Order" are not yet manufactured. Orders are collected during a defined pre-order window.
Once the pre-order window closes, production begins based on confirmed order count.
Each item is produced specifically for the customers who pre-ordered it. No overstock is produced.
Estimated shipping dates are targets, not guarantees. Manufacturing timelines may vary.
In-stock items ship from existing inventory within the timeframe stated on the product page.

  Pre-order cancellations: Pre-orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of placement. After the pre-order window closes and production begins, cancellations are no longer accepted.

3. Limited Editions and Scarcity

All Anchorball collectibles are produced in strictly limited editions. Edition numbers are clearly stated on each product page. Once an edition sells out, it is permanently retired and will not be reprinted.

Numbered certificates of authenticity are included with all vinyl figures and display editions. The edition number is permanently marked on the base of each piece.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is charged at the time of order placement, not at shipping.

Anchorball reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

5. Shipping

Shipping timelines, carriers, and rates are detailed on our Shipping page. For pre-orders, shipping begins after production is complete. We will send tracking information to your email once your order ships.

International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, and taxes imposed by their country.

6. Returns and Refunds

Our full return and refund policy is detailed on our Refund Policy page. In summary:

Pre-orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of placement for a full refund.
In-stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they arrive damaged or defective.
Items must be returned in original, unopened packaging.
We do not accept returns due to change of mind on pre-order items after production has begun.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Anchorball website - including product images, character designs, illustrations, copy, logos, and the overall visual identity - is the exclusive property of Ken Kelleher and Anchorball. All rights reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Anchorball content without express written permission. Purchasing a collectible does not transfer any intellectual property rights.

Character names including Ghost Mawse, Bunni B, Poko, Tommy Toucan, and the Low Orbit City universe are original creations and trademarks of Ken Kelleher / Anchorball.

8. User Conduct

By using our website, you agree not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of our systems, use automated tools to scrape data, submit false or fraudulent orders, misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Anchorball, or use our brand, images, or character IP without written permission.

9. Resale

We do not prohibit resale of Anchorball collectibles on the secondary market. However, we cannot verify the authenticity of items sold by unauthorized third parties and are not responsible for counterfeit goods. All authentic Anchorball items include a numbered certificate of authenticity.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Anchorball website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchorball's liability for any claim arising from your use of our site or products is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
